The 73rd Kameoka Peace Festival Hozugawa Citizens’ Fireworks was held on 11 August 2024.
Scale of this event was larger than in previous years. As well as the launch of one of western Japan’s largest 2-litre fireworks, there was a drone show at the beginning of the show, a fireworks collaboration with Momo-Kuro, and many other highlights.

The fireworks venue is a convenient 15-minute walk from Kiri no Kōbō .
Kiri no Kōbō is located a little further up the hill, so you can fully enjoy watching the fireworks from your room.

The Hozugawa Citizens’ Fireworks Festival is scheduled to take place every year before the Mountain Day public holiday.
