Enveloped in mist, touch the trees, touch the river, touch the earth.

In a small village embraced by mist and fields,
In the misty village, your mind and body slowly unwind, and your own Kyoto time begins.

Find your own way to rest, where mind and body settle.

Our facility

Don't push yourself; you don't have to do anything.
Simply enjoy spending time at your own pace, breathing in the air of this land.

Living Room

Warm, soothing air flows through the space

Beams that have supported the storehouse for decades, aged timber bearing traces of handcrafted work,
and a living room with an open-ceiling feel that creates a sense of spaciousness.

Open the windows, and the breeze and birdsong drift in, letting you feel time itself slow and shift.

The wood-burning fireplace at the heart of the living room is the very soul of this home.
Watching the flames dance, time seems to unravel gently.
*The fireplace is available during winter only.

Goemon Bath

A nostalgic yet new experience

A traditional bath where water is heated by adding firewood.
The time spent waiting while listening to the sound of the fire, and the moment of bathing where steam and mist mingle,
feels somehow nostalgic and comfortable.

Please warm yourself to your heart's content in the pot, which is gently hot like a rock bath.
*Heating with firewood is available during winter only. Showers are available.

Workspace/Kitchen

Lose track of time while immersing yourself

A space that preserves the traditional earthen floor.

It provides an ideal viewing spot for the Kameoka Fireworks Festival.
We will have your futon laid out and ready for you upon check-in.

Fields and gardens
